Update to our PatientS
We now have been given the “go ahead” to re-open and we shall start seeing regular orthodontic patients as of
Monday June 15th.
There are still some restrictions that are necessary, such as maintaining physical distancing and controlling the flow of patients, however this is something we can all work together on.
As we have not been able to see patients for three months there obviously be some delay in appointment and we for your patients and cooperation in this matter.
We are starting to contact our patients whose appointment had to be cancelled which will be ongoing, if by chance you have not been contacted by our patient coordinators please call our office to book your follow up and we will do our best to book you as soon as we can, again expect delays.
We have taken this time to install protective shields and upgrade some of our necessary personal protective equipment for our staff to ensure your safety and ours.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MY ONGOING ORTHODONTIC PATIENT CURRENTLY IN TREATMENT
Many are naturally concerned about time between appointments and if this will draw out treatment. Please understand that I use the most sophisticated bracket system that maintains it effects over a prolonged period so that even though you may not feel as though your treatment is progressing, it in fact is still being influenced during the present COVID-19 office interruption.
These are some of the changes you will notice at your next appointment.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you and my staff safe and healthy.

How Invisalign Treatments Work at Our Office
When it comes to Invisalign treatments, many practitioners expect the Invisalign lab technicians to diagnose and provide the treatment instructions for their patients. However, this is not true of Dr. Ian M. Milne, who prefers to direct the technicians himself. In fact, he has even travelled to the Invisalign laboratory himself to ensure that his specific instructions for his patients were followed to the letter. If you’re interested in straightening your teeth using virtually invisible Invisalign aligners, Dr. Milne would welcome the opportunity to provide you with a consultation to see if they would be a good fit for your specific lifestyle and budget.
